Alex is an entrepreneur at heart with a background in Sales, Credit, Finance, Accounting, Product Management, and Operations over the course of his 20+-year career. Alex earned his reputation as an inspirational leader to culturally diverse teams, having developed and led organizations internationally in South America, North America, and the Asia- Pacific.
Alex has served as the Group CFO for GreyOrange, a warehouse fulfillment automation provider, since March of 2021, where he transformed the finance organization into a growth and value engine. Through his efforts, bookings increased by 90% and revenue grew by 50% in just 1 year, resulting in a 5x increase in the company valuation. These outcomes also enabled him to secure more than $110M in funding through Series D, Debt, Convertible Notes, and SPAC actions. Alex spent 10 years as a Finance Executive and Growth Catalyst for various business units within SAP. He led the SAP Fieldglass M&A integration and SaaS revenue growth from $120M to $200M. He also directed the global operations P&L and created the strategy that grew revenues for SAP Customer Experience from $350M to $1B while capturing $90M in savings. Internationally, Alex turned around SAP Japan, reversing 10% revenue loss 10 years straight with a >90% Cloud and >30% Premise software growth rate. He also fueled explosive growth for SAP Brazil and SAP Southern Latin America, enabling the largest deal in Global SAP history and earning the #3 global rank in new software revenue.
