Visibility to parts and raw material supply is critical when keeping production running is a priority. Kaleris’ manufacturing yard management system [YMS] breathes new life into manufacturing by giving shippers and carriers the ability to schedule shipments and get real-time visibility into trailer location and monitor load status. Many manufacturers store raw materials in the yard, using trailers as an extension to the warehouse. Our Advanced YMS ensures you know which products are in which trailer so you can replenish warehouse stocks at a moment’s notice by directing trailer moves to the correct doors to manage inventory.

Advanced Technology

Outbound shipments can be automatically matched to the appropriate trailer type and business rules direct empties to available dock doors. When yard capacity is at a premium, Kaleris manages the supply of available trailers by SCAC to ensure adequate supply and control.

Kaleris can pinpoint carriers that use the property for excess trailer parking. Kaleris coordinates information between your MES, TMS, and WMS to streamline yard operations, minimizing dwell times, demurrage charges and detention fees.

Truck Carrier Management [TCM]

Truck Carrier Management is the central repository for all master data and ensures shipper, receiver, and carrier have one version of the truth. Transactions are processed in real/near real time and all stakeholders can easily and quickly verify amount transported, apply expected charges, and identify exceptions.

 

Logistics Plan

Logistics Plan is used to forecast shipment fulfillment requirements by matching daily and future customer orders with expected inventory and equipment supply. Logistics Plan manages planned vs. actual shipments, captures variance to plan, and adjusts the next day plan for differences in orders, inventory, and equipment availability.
